"
"I don't like your attitude"

Home Victims in this situation often find it difficult to talk to someone and get help.
They feel that it is their fault, they may feel embarrassed, their self-esteem and confidence gone; as they have been told repeatedly that they are useless and worthless.

The abuser may be reluctant to admit what he is doing is wrong, and
believes that his actions are ok. Often thinks that their behaviour is normal!
